Lucente Luce della Vite 2012

Merlot and Sangiovese, are hand-selected at optimum ripeness and gently pressed to retain the delicacy in the wine. Separate fermentation at controlled temperature follows. The blend is then aged for 12 months in partially new hand split oak barriques to enhance the complexity. This wine has a deep purple colour. The bouquet is powerful, with aromas of ripe fruit, black cherry, and wild strawberry. Pleasant sweet spices and hints of Mediterranean shrublands bring out the complexity of this wine. The palate is round and velvety with a very fine tannin texture and enlivened by fresh notes of eucalyptus. The slightly smoky finish makes it a complex wine, powerful and elegant.
